Job Summary

Technical selling of general laboratories and consumables products, building new customer accounts and managing key accounts to achieve technical sales targets for assigned businesses/ territories

Job Responsibilities

  • To grow, sell and increase customer base in designated territories / industries
  • Drive sales activities of general laboratory instruments & consumables.
  • Responsible to promote and manage range of products to the designated territories. · Ensure thorough market coverage for relevant target territories / industries
  • Ensure that communications with customers and with the company are rapid and comprehensive. Maintain good customer rapport.
  • Timely update of opportunities / prospects / projects via company’s CRM
  • Submit regular reports covering sales activities, sales strategies, performance, and planning to reach nominated targets.
  • Ensure constant discussions and update with immediate superior to ensure yearly sales target can be achieved
  • Maintain a high level of technical and sales competence by keeping abreast with latest techniques and development of the products.
  • Use own initiative to acquire comprehensive product knowledge. · Organize and coordinate promotional/marketing activities at customer sites
  • Ensuring that Company’s reputation for high quality products and services are maintained

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Science majoring in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Applied Sciences or Engineering Extensive hands-on experience with Scientific Instruments will be considered
  • Minimum one to three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge in Scientific Instruments
  • Demonstrate good background knowledge of market industries for Scientific Instrumentation product range
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken · Excellent communication skill
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
