Job Description
A Public Relations Intern supports the PR and communications team in managing media relations, preparing communication materials, coordinating events, and building a positive public image for the company or clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting press releases, media alerts, speeches, newsletters, and PR materials.
- Support media monitoring by tracking news coverage, social media mentions, and industry updates.
- Help maintain media lists and contact databases.
- Assist in coordinating press conferences, launches, events, and media briefings.
- Support communication with journalists, influencers, partners, and vendors.
- Prepare media coverage reports and PR activity summaries.
- Conduct research on media trends, competitors, campaigns, and target audiences.
- Help manage social media content, captions, and scheduling when required.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to PR campaigns and client servicing.
- Ensure all communication materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with brand tone.
