Job Description
At Dolphin, we develop bold, innovative advertising campaigns for top brands like L'Oréal Paris, Kiehl's, YSL, Maybelline, 3CE, Maybank, AEON Bank, Ali Cafe, Royal Canin, Pepsi Lipton and more.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting & Finance Executive to handle and manage our company’s financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Operations: Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory and general ledger maintenance; ensure timely payments and accurate financial records.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage full sets of accounts, including periodic financial reports, budgeting and forecasting.
- Taxation & Compliance: Maintain well-organised accounting records and filing systems for tax compliance and audits; reviewing and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutes, and company policies.
- Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely our Operations, HR and Client Servicing teams to understand transaction schedules and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- External Liaison: Liaise with external parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agents and company secretaries.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an advertising or creative industry.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience and proficiency in accounting software (Info-Tech Accounting is a strong advantage)
- Experience in handling SST, WHT, e-invoicing.
- Experience in group accounting or parent-subsidiary organisational environments (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ready to start immediately (preferred).
