Job Description

 We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Intern to support our Human Resources department in recruitment, HR operations, and administrative tasks. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment within the cruise, hospitality, and service industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
     
  • Post job advertisements on job portals, social media, and other recruitment platforms.
     
  • Help maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems.
     
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to gather job requirements and interview schedules.
     
  • Support pre-employment documentation such as collecting candidate forms, medicals, and references.
     
  • Participate in job fairs, walk-in interviews, and other recruitment activities when required.
     

2. HR Operations Support

  • Assist in maintaining accurate HR records and personnel files.
     
  • Support onboarding activities including preparation of orientation materials and coordination with new hires.
     
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and HR-related events.
     
  • Respond to basic employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, or general information.
     
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and updating recruitment trackers.
     

3. Administrative Support

  • Help manage office administrative tasks such as organizing supplies, arranging meetings, and coordinating with vendors.
     
  • Provide logistics support for HR events, interviews, and training sessions.
     
  • Assist in travel and meeting arrangements when required.
     
  • Ensure administrative tasks are completed in line with company procedures.

  • Comfortable engaging with individuals from various nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
     
  • Strong interest in recruitment, HR operations, and the hospitality/cruise industry.
     
  • Good communication skills and confidence in interacting with diverse candidates.
     
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
     
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
     
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
     
  • Knowledge of HR systems or ATS is an advantage (not mandatory).
