IT Infrastructure

•  Oversee the management, configuration, and optimization of ship-wide IT systems (hotel, casino, entertainment, and marine). Ensure high-availability and performance across all networks.
•  Assist with system setup, perform routine checks, and provide maintenance support for servers, networks, and end-user equipment.

Connectivity & Systems Integration

•  Manages operation of ship-to-shore internet connectivity, administration of bandwidth allocation and integration of PMS, POS, surveillance, TV broadcast / signages and Starlink & Communication systems.
•  Monitor daily connectivity, troubleshoot guest/crew network issues, and support system integration.

Operations & Support

•  Oversee all IT operations onboard, conduct systems preventive maintenance, and manage vendor/contractor relationships.
•  Deliver frontline IT support to crew and guests, handle incident resolution, maintain asset inventory, and assist with preventive maintenance tasks.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

•  Implement cybersecurity measures; conduct incident response.
•  Apply security controls such as patching and access restrictions; escalate security alerts and monitoring.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
•  2–5 years of IT support experience in cruise, hospitality, or enterprise environments (shipboard or hotel IT experience preferred).
•  Proven track record in IT operational support, maintenance, and infrastructure implementations, including casino/gaming IT systems and satellite/marine connectivity.
•  Experience with dry dock, refit, or newbuild deployments preferred
•  Hands-on experience with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support.

Skills & Competencies:

•  Hands-on support experience of hotel, casino, and marine IT systems.
•  Strong working experience of networking (enterprise switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi).
•  Familiarity with PMS, POS, and hotel/entertainment IT systems.
•  Strong practical troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity.
•  Good communication and teamwork skills; able to support users at different technical levels.
•  Fluent in English; Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia an advantage.
•  Ability and willingness to live onboard full-time during contract rotations.
