Job Description

As a Cafe Crew member, you are part of the frontline team supporting both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations.

You will assist with drink and food preparation, customer service, cleanliness and daily cafe readiness.

Job Requirements

 ☕ Food & Beverage Preparation (BOH Support)

•  Assist with preparation of drinks (coffee, tea, soda, specialty beverages)
•  Support food preparation and plating
•  Ensure preparation area are clean, organised and ready for service

  🍽️ Customer Service & Ordering Handling

•  Take and serve orders with care, clarity, and a friendly attitude
•  Serve food and drinks with care, friendliness and attention to presentation
•  Engage with guests, answer menu questions and recommend items when appropriate
•  Handle customer requests and escalate issues to the supervisor when needed 

📋 Cleanliness, Compliance & Cafe Readiness

•  Maintain cleanliness of tables, floors, counters, toilets and service areas
•  Perform routine cleaning and hygiene according to SOP
•  Ensure condiments, cutlery, takeaway packaging, trays and displays are fully stocked 
•  Monitor café ambient including cleanliness, lighting, temperature, scent and music

🛠️ Team Support & Compliance

•  Support cafe manager and kitchen teams
•  Assist with drink preparation, food safety, hygiene and inspection readiness (DBKL, Health Department)
•  Report maintenance issues, hygiene concerns or guest feedback to supervisors promptly
