Drury Heritage Cafe Lounge is a lifestyle cafe in KL’s Chinatown combining modern Malaysian cafe culture with heritage aesthetics. The Cafe Crew is a frontline role supporting front-of-house and back-of-house operations, delivering friendly guest service, preparing drinks and foods, maintaining cleanliness and readiness, and representing the brand to create a welcoming guest experience.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Food & Beverage Preparation: prepare drinks (coffee, tea, soda, specialty beverages) and food preparation and plating according to SOP; keep preparation areas clean and organised.
• Customer Service & Order Handling: take and serve orders with care and clarity; serve food and drinks with attention to presentation; engage with guests, answer menu questions and recommend items; escalate issues to supervisor when needed.
• Cleanliness, Compliance & Cafe Readiness: maintain cleanliness of tables, floors, counters, toilets and service areas; perform routine cleaning and hygiene according to SOP; ensure condiments, cutlery, takeaway packaging, trays and displays are stocked; monitor café ambient (cleanliness, lighting, temperature, scent and music).
• Team Support & Compliance: support barista, cashier and kitchen teams; assist with food safety, hygiene and inspection readiness; report maintenance issues, hygiene concerns or guest feedback to supervisors.
• Brand & Team Ambassador: represent the brand professionally through behaviour and grooming; help promote menu items and retail products; work closely with teammates across tasks and zones.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: prior F&B experience preferred but not required; passion and positive attitude valued.
• Service mindset: friendly, calm under pressure, attentive to guests.
• Compliance: able to follow hygiene, food safety and operational SOPs.
• Technical skills: basic ability to use POS systems and follow service procedures; support barista and cashier tasks.
• Hygiene & grooming: high personal cleanliness, neat appearance and proper uniform standards.
• Teamwork: willing to back up teammates and support across FOH and BOH tasks.
• Languages: able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Cantonese and other languages an advantage.
