Job Description

Job Requirements:

1. Responsible to manage the business development in his/her assigned portfolio which leads to the achievement of the International Business Department and company objectives on growth and profitability.
2. Assigned portfolio – Direct Export Business
3. Manage the business in the assigned countries and work closely with partners to achieve set business targets in accordance to all required planning and budget activities.
4. To meet the company’s export growth expectation and direction by expanding the company’s market reach, increasing market penetration  of existing markets as well as venturing into new markets in the assigned territories.
5. To develop and efficient network by linking with Trade councils and Government Trade Development organisations and tap on trade leads in their records/data as well as obtaining the latest information.
6. Identifying opportunities and establishing new alliances and partnership.
7. Supervise implementation of processes for budgeting, accounting and logistics according to corporate guidelines and advise on deviations and adapt planning and executive accordingly.

General Requirements:

• Degree in Biotechnology/Masters in Business Administration 
• Min 6 years of working International Sales experience in pharmaceutical industry
• International pharmaceutical market exposure
• Corporate level negotiation skills
• Technical regulatory knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical industry at local and international environment settings.
• Strong business acumen and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Ability and skill in translating the corporate vision, overcoming complex business challenges and delivering on high-impact decisions.
• A person committed to the company’s core values of integrity, ethics, fairness, quality, service and innovation.
• Clear and transparent communication style.
• An energetic and committed individual with “hands-on” mindset
