Job Description
The Corporate Strategy Executive/Senior Executive will play a pivotal role in assisting the Manager and Senior Manager with corporate strategy and corporate finance. This role demands a dynamic approach to strategic planning, market research, financial analysis, digital reporting, tax planning and business development. The executive will also ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and manage administrative responsibilities to facilitate smooth departmental operations.
Job Requirements
• Corporate Assignments Support: Assist and support superiors with various corporate assignments including corporate affairs, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business growth, and business evaluation within the Group. • Corporate Planning and Investment: Support the Group in corporate planning, investment strategies, and taxation initiatives to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of subsidiaries focusing on operational efficiencies and cost optimization strategies to ensure alignment with the Group’s objectives. • Data Analytics and Business Insights: Collect, analyse, and interpret financial, operational, sales, market, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas. Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support management decision-making. • Tax Advisory: Assist in providing tax analysis and advisory support for business transactions, corporate restructuring, investment projects, intercompany arrangements, financing structures, and compliance-related matters. Liaise with tax agents, auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders where required. • Regulatory Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, corporate governance standards, and ESG reporting to maintain corporate integrity and public trust. • Collaboration and Liaison: Work closely with internal teams, investors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate corporate initiatives and ensure cohesive strategy execution. • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and strategy documents for Annual General Meetings (AGMs), Board meetings, and investor relations. Manage minutes-taking, documentation, and provide administrative support during these events.
