Job Description
1. Nursery operation -To support nursery operations in term of crop production, irrigation, machinery, Pest and Disease (P&D) management and field activities to ensure safe, productive and cost-effective farm operations. 2. Herbs Nursery and Landscape Maintenance - Responsible for day to day technical and maintenance activities including crop establishment, fertilization and machinery operation - Reporting equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs when necessary - Ensure farm equipment remains in good working condition and ready to use by always following safety procedure and standard operating procedure (SOP) 3. Training and Operational Support - Provide briefing and guidance to the general worker for machine operations by taking into account recommended safety practice - Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and perform other related task instructed by the superior 4. Record Documentation -Establish and keep maintenance records for machines (by internal and external party) - The records need to be documented accordingly 5. Safety, Health and Environment - Responsible to ensure all machines and equipment were in safe condition before and after operation - Alert superior with any machine malfunction and implement stop work order immediately to avoid any safety & health issues to the staff
Job Requirements
Qualification and Education - KM Level 4 / Diploma in Agriculture field or equivalent Experience - Minimum 1 year of experience in Agriculture field. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply - Experience in nursery management is an added advantage Technical Knowledge / Skills - Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting - Ability to perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on farm equipment - Posses B2 & D driving license People's Knowledge / Skills - Responsible and well disciplined - Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks - Good team work and communication skills - Good problem solving skills - Posses good attitude and willing to learn new skills
