Job Description
1. Assist in daily field operations for planting, maintaining, and harvesting Black Ginger and Noni crops. 2. Prepare planting areas, including soil conditioning, mulching, weeding, and irrigation setup. 3. Carry out routine crop care such as watering, pruning, fertilizing, pest control, and disease monitoring. 4. Assist in propagation activities (seedling preparation, transplanting, and nursery maintenance). 5. Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and storage of harvested Black Ginger and Noni fruits. 6. Operate and maintain basic agricultural tools and equipment safely. 7. Keep daily records of field activities, crop growth, and issues observed. 8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage, and farm facilities. 9. Support supervisors and agronomists in any additional tasks related to crop development or farm operations.
Job Requirements
1. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. 2. Willing to perform manual labor tasks such as planting, weeding, lifting, and field maintenance. 3. Basic knowledge of agricultural work is an advantage (but not required; training can be provided). 4. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. 5. Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 6. Willingness to learn about Black Ginger and Noni crop handling and cultivation processes. 7. Basic literacy for recording daily tasks is preferred. 8. Ability to operate simple farming tools or equipment is an added advantage.
