Job Description
1. Planting and Harvesting: - Help plant mushroom spores or substrates. - Pick mushrooms at the right growth stage. 2. Farm Maintenance: - Sanitize and clean mushroom sheds and equipment. - Proper hygiene should be maintained to avoid contamination. 3. Sorting and Packaging: - Separate mushrooms according to size/quality. - Package mushrooms for sale or delivery. 4. Tracking Growth: - Monitor temperature, humidity, and ventilation in mushroom houses. - Inform the supervisor of any irregularities. 5. Loading and Unloading: - Help load/unload materials, tools, and packaged products. 6. Waste Management: - Dispose of used substrates and farm waste properly. 7. Follow Safety Procedures: - Adhere to farm hygiene and safety regulations.
Job Requirements
1. Minimum Education: - Able to read and write (basic literacy). - SPM or equivalent is an advantage but not necessary. 2. Physical Fitness: - Physically fit and able to work in humid and warm environments. - Able to lift, carry, and perform manual work. 3. Working Hours Flexibility: - Willing to work on weekends or public holidays if needed. - Able to follow shift schedules. 4. Teamwork and Responsibility: - Able to work in a team and follow instructions. - Responsible and punctual. 5. Experience (Optional): - Experience in agriculture or mushroom farming is a bonus but not required. - On-the-job training will be provided.
