1. Succession Planning and Career Management o Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s Succession Planning Program, ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical roles. o Identify and evaluate high-potential employees for leadership roles and critical positions using structured talent review processes. o Collaborate with department heads to design and implement career development plans for identified talents. o Maintain and update the succession planning database, including profiles, readiness assessments, and developmental needs of potential successors. o Organize and coordinate training programs and workshops tailored for successor readiness and leadership development. 2. Performance Management o Manage and enhance the company’s Performance Management System (PMS) to align employee objectives with organizational goals. o Conduct performance calibration sessions with managers to ensure consistency and fairness in evaluations. o Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on performance management best practices, including setting SMART goals and conducting appraisals. o Track and analyze performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement. o Design strategies to improve employee engagement and performance outcomes through coaching, feedback, and development programs. 3. Talent Management Unit Collaboration o Work closely with the Talent Development Team to align training initiatives with career progression and performance improvement needs. o Support the implementation of leadership development and other talent programs under the newly established Talent Management Unit. o Ensure seamless execution of both Succession Planning and Performance Management initiatives by collaborating across HR functions. 4. Reporting and Continuous Improvement o Prepare regular reports on succession, career management, and performance metrics for the Talent Management Unit and senior leadership. o Review and update policies and procedures related to talent management to ensure alignment with business goals. o Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent and performance management to recommend continuous improvements.
1. Education o Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. o A Master’s degree or certifications in Talent Management, Succession Planning, or Performance Management will be an advantage. 2. Experience o Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, specifically in succession planning, performance management, or talent development. o Proven track record of managing and executing HR programs, with a focus on leadership and career development. 3. Skills o Strong knowledge of succession planning frameworks, career development strategies, and performance management systems. o Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. o Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. o Analytical skills with experience in using HR systems and tools to track and report performance and talent metrics. o High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 4. Other Requirements o Familiarity with leadership assessment tools and competency frameworks. o Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on HR trends and best practices. o Strong organizational and time management skills.
