Job Description
- Analyse financial information and reports submitted by subsidiaries, including review of current and historical trends in key performance indicators. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules. - Compile financial reports including annual reports, quarterly announcements, and other ad hoc reports for management decision-making. - Liaise with various business units on finance-related matters to ensure accurate and timely reporting. - Support continuous improvement of consolidation processes and reporting efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage. - Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in group consolidation or financial reporting. - Good knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/MFRS) and financial reporting requirements. - Good understanding of income tax and deferred tax, including tax computations and recognition of deferred tax assets and liabilities. - Hands-on experience in reviewing financial data and resolving reporting issues with subsidiaries. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines. - Good communication and interpersonal skills.
