Job Description
Phlebotomist: - Blood Collection: Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks using appropriate medical equipment. - Patient Care: Verify patient identification, answer questions, and comfort nervous or distressed patients. - Specimen Management: Accurately label, store, and process blood or other fluid samples (like urine) according to lab protocols. - Data Entry: Enter patient information, test codes, and sample logs into electronic medical records (EMR) or databases. - Sanitation & Safety: Sterilize equipment, maintain a clean workspace, and follow universal health and safety precautions
Job Requirements
