Job Description
- Assist in developing initial cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs based on technical drawings and project specifications.
- Help prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and pricing schedules.
- Evaluate and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support the senior quantity surveyor in tracking project expenditures and ensuring they align with budget forecasts.
- Contribute to the preparation of interim valuations and final account statements.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, including material logs and payment certificates.
- Compile and submit periodic cost reports for review by senior management
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- 1-2 years of working experience in renovations & Interior Design.
- Basic knowledge of tendering, contracts, BQ, VO and claims.
- Proficient in computer skills (MS Office: knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is an advantage).
- Detail-oriented, able to work in a term, and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and writing skills in both English and Malay.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
