Job Description

•  Assist in developing initial cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
•  Perform quantity take-offs based on technical drawings and project specifications.
•  Help prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and pricing schedules.
•  Evaluate and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
•  Support the senior quantity surveyor in tracking project expenditures and ensuring they align with budget forecasts.
•  Contribute to the preparation of interim valuations and final account statements.
•  Maintain accurate records of project costs, including material logs and payment certificates.
•  Compile and submit periodic cost reports for review by senior management

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 1-2 years of working experience in renovations & Interior Design.
• Basic knowledge of tendering, contracts, BQ, VO and claims.
• Proficient in computer skills (MS Office: knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is an advantage).
• Detail-oriented, able to work in a term, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and writing skills in both English and Malay.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
