About the Role

As a Partnership & Community Executive (Marketing Department), you will support the Partnership & Community Manager in building EasyStore’s ecosystem of partners and merchant advocates. This role is hands-on and collaborative, involving event execution, partner engagement, and community-building activities that position EasyStore as the leading solution for SMEs in retail and ecommerce.

You will be at the forefront of connecting with SME communities, industry associations, and ecosystem partners through online and offline engagements, while ensuring our merchants feel supported and celebrated.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Planning & Execution

• Manage end-to-end on-ground events: setup, logistics, partner coordination, and follow-ups.
• Represent EasyStore professionally at events, engaging merchants and partners.
• Opportunity to travel around Malaysia and work with multiple SME organizations both locally and globally. 

2. Partnership Engagement

• Source, pitch, and establish connections with SME communities, industry associations, and ecosystem players for local and global joint partnership marketing initiatives. 
• Coordinate with partners on deliverables and monitor initiative performance by ensuring timelines and objectives are achieved.

3. Marketing & Storytelling

• Create engaging copy for partner joint initiatives and internal event campaigns, communications, newsletters and updates. 
• Support content creation for merchant success stories and community features.

4. Merchant Programs & Community Activities

• Lead, plan and execute merchant advocacy programs and SME community initiatives both online and offline. 
• Support the design and delivery of activities that encourage merchants to grow their business even further with your designed campaigns and activities.
  
   

Job Requirements

• Entry level candidates are welcome; 1–2 years of experience in partnerships, community management, events, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; copywriting ability is a plus.
• Comfortable with on-ground event execution and direct stakeholder engagement.
• Resourceful, proactive, and a strong team player.
• Passionate about SME growth, retail, ecommerce, and commerce ecosystems.
