About the Role 

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Project Associate to support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of cybersecurity technology and service deployments for our clients.
You will work closely with solution managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, and high quality service outcomes. 

This role is ideal for someone with around 2 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity implementation, project coordination, or technical operations—someone who enjoys structured execution, client interaction, and problem-solving. 

Key Responsibilities 

Project Coordination & Delivery Support 

  • Assist in planning and executing deployment activities for Data Protection solutions and services eg. DSPM, Data-at-rest Encryption/Tokenization, KMS, CBoM, Security Awareness Training etc. 
  • Coordinate project schedules, internal resources, and client timelines to ensure on time delivery 
  • Support Head of Delivery in preparing project documentation, deployment plans, and risk logs 
  • Monitor project progress, escalate issues, and ensure timely resolution of technical or operational blockers 
  • Ensure smooth handover to support teams post deployment 

Client Engagement 

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact point for clients during deployment phases 
  • Manage client expectations with clear, timely communication on progress, dependencies, and deliverables 
  • Document requirements, meeting minutes, and action items for all engagements 
  • Support onboarding workshops, training sessions, and deployment reviews 

Technical & Operational Support 

  • Assist engineers with configuration, testing, and validation activities during solution rollout 
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and help coordinate support escalations 
  • Ensure proper documentation of implementation records, site information, and configuration logs 

Internal Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Solution, Technical, Sales, and Operations teams to align project objectives and client expectations 
  • Provide deployment feedback and insights that can improve delivery processes and product adoption 
  • Assist in internal reporting on project status, KPIs, and risk assessments 

Professional Growth 

  • Continuously update your knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, deployment best practices, and industry trends 
  • Participate in internal training to deepen both technical and project management capabilities 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field  
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience supporting IT or cybersecurity project delivery, system deployment, or technical implementation  
  • Practical exposure to cybersecurity tools or solutions, such as data, security, endpoint security, SIEM, vulnerability management, firewalls, cloud security, or identity solutions  
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, follow up on tasks, and track multiple project workstreams  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface confidently with clients, technical teams, and internal stakeholders  
  • Good documentation discipline, including preparing meeting minutes, deployment reports, configuration logs, and project trackers  
  • Basic troubleshooting and technical understanding to support deployment validation, issue escalation, and user onboarding  
  • Proactive, detail oriented, and resourceful, able to work independently with minimal supervision  
  • Comfortable working with enterprise customers, including regulated or high security environments  
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)  
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel to client sites when required
