Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Case Investigation & Disciplinary Actions
  • Conduct investigations into employee misconduct, gather evidence, and prepare reports.
  • Handle disciplinary cases, including issuing show cause letters, suspension letters, warning letters, dismissal letters and termination notices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws in all disciplinary matters.

2. Domestic Inquiry (DI) Management

  • Act as the Prosecuting Officer (PO) or Secretary in Domestic Inquiries.
  • Prepare charge sheets, compile evidence, and present cases during DI proceedings.
  • Ensure DI procedures are conducted fairly and in compliance with labor laws.
  • Draft DI minutes and reports for management’s decision-making.

3. Memo & Documentation

  • Draft memos, circulars, and official communications related to Human Resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of disciplinary cases and investigation findings.
  • Prepare reports on disciplinary trends and recommend preventive measures.

4. Employee Grievance Handling

  • Address employee complaints and grievances in a fair and professional manner.
  • Provide guidance to employees and management on conflict resolution.
  • Mediate disputes to foster a positive working environment.

5. Compliance & Legal Advisory

  • Assist in updating internal policies to align with labor regulations.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors when necessary for industrial relations matters.

6. Other Responsibilities

  • Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on industrial relations matters.
  • Support the HR team in policy implementation and workplace ethics programs.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.


Job Requirements

Education & Qualification

  • Must hold a degree in any academic discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
  • SPM Results:

 i. Must obtain at least Credits in all subjects.

 ii. Must have at least one A in SPM English, Bahasa Malaysia, or Mathematics.

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

No work experience is required. However, if experienced, she must not be a job hopper and must have stayed in a company for at least two (2) years.

Technical Skills, Professional Knowledge & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Computer literacy;
  • Good Time Management skills; and
  • Writing skill (Bahasa Malaysia & English).
