Job Description

  • Review consolidated accounts to ensure monthly consolidation financial statements submit on a timely basis.
  • Prepare Interim Financial Report for Bursa Malaysia Announcement on quarterly basis to ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and applicable Approved Accounting Standards.
  • Review/ prepare various explanatory notes/ financial data and analysis for the quarterly results in order to provide accurate information to the management.
  • Reviewing management accounts of the subsidiaries to ensure consistency/ compliance with Group Accounting Policies and applicable Approved Accounting Standards.
  • Administer and implement new Accounting Standards in the existing financial reporting in order compliance with new Accounting Standards.
  • Handling financial account closing and budget for Holding company and certain investment holding companies.
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with auditors in order to complete the annual audit on timely basis.
  • Co-ordinate, review and compile Annual Budget for the Group based on individual business unit budgets in order to establish a realistic yet challenging Group Budget & Business Plan for each financial year.
  • Review and monitor operating business units’ performance against budgets in order to detect any deviation from plan on a timely basis.
  • Management review on Business unit’s performance by reviewing the feasibility studies, profit budget and cash flow to highlight any irregularities and to provide early warning to management.
