Role Summary

We're looking for a versatile Videographer/Video Editor who thrives in fast-paced environments and can own projects from concept to final cut. You'll create scroll-stopping social media content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) that rides the latest trends, and capture compelling footage at live events, all while collaborating with our creative team to push visual storytelling boundaries.

If you're energized by tight deadlines, last-minute pivots, and frequent on-ground shoots across Malaysia (including weekends), we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality short-form video content for social platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Create trend-driven edits that leverage current formats, sounds, and visual styles to maximize engagement and relevance
• Provide end-to-end video coverage for client events, including setup, filming, and rapid turnaround edits
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to develop video concepts that align with campaign objectives
• Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats to keep our clients' content fresh and competitive
• Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring gear is ready for shoots at all times
• Build and organize a library of video assets, templates, and motion graphics for efficient content production
• Travel frequently for on-ground shoots and event coverage throughout Malaysia, with flexibility for weekend assignments

Job Requirements

Technical Requirements

Required:

• 2-5 years of professional videography and, Eg: DaVinci Resolve/Premiere Pro, and After Effects (or equivalent NLE/motion graphics software)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form social content and event coverage
• Hands-on experience with DSLR cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
• Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Flexibility to travel within Malaysia and work weekends when required for shoots and events

Preferred:

• Experience shooting and editing automotive content, event coverage, car launches, or social media for automotive brands (added bonus+) 
• Experience with motion graphics, animation.
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve for color grading software.
• Photography skills for hybrid shoot requirements
• Agency or client-facing production experience
