DETAILS

• Working 5 days a week 
• Off day: Alternate days (2 days) 
• Working location: Sentul, Kuala Lumpur 
• Salary: RM 3,500.00 – RM 5,000.00 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buses.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely service.
• Test and evaluate repaired buses to confirm functionality and safety.
• Keep the work area organized and follow safety protocols.
• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on buses to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to identify necessary repairs.
• Supervising and training junior maintenance staff to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Managing inventory of parts and supplies to ensure timely availability for maintenance tasks.
• Coordinating repair schedules with transit operations to minimize downtime of buses.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on each bus.
• Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborating with management to develop maintenance budgets and meet financial targets.
• Assisting in the implementation of new maintenance technologies and practices to improve efficiency.
• Responding to emergency breakdowns and providing on-site repairs as necessary.
• Attending meeting/event/class/seminar. 

Job Requirements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum SPM and above. 
• Completion of a technical program in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred. 
• 3 – 5 years of experience in bus/tourism transportation operations. Previous experience in bus maintenance or a related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to work on shifts, public holidays, and on weekends. 
• Willing to travel and work independently under pressure.
