All about the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PLM expert to lead and manage our global PLM initiatives within a Global R&D organization.

Directly reporting to the Head of R&D Excellence, this pivotal role is responsible for ensuring that all functional requirements across various R&D Teams will be considered as per the solutions to be developed in the context of an overall PLM solution. The successful candidate will act as a central figure representing R&D Food Preparation in the different forums defining and developing the solution.

What you’ll do:

• Lead coordination of the Product Lifecycle Management processes and tools to harmonize and optimize global PLM usage.

• Manage consultant resources and lead PLM-related projects, ensuring alignment and progress through steering committees.

• Collaborate with central teams and product line coordinators to define, maintain, and communicate drawing and 3D standards.

• Collect, escalate, and implement Teamcenter configuration requirements; act as liaison within PLM Connect forums to align on global PLM solutions.

• Gather feedback, training needs, and innovative ideas from regional coordinators to continuously improve Teamcenter and associated tools.

• Oversee development and distribution of communication materials, best practices, and training content related to Teamcenter activities.

• Monitor PLM tool performance regularly and coordinate with IT to resolve issues or infrastructure needs.

• Facilitate Teamcenter training for subject matter experts and relevant users.

• Support modularity governance and ensure alignment with global R&D Food Preparation business needs.

• Take ownership of team growth and precision in project launch execution.

Who you are:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent technical education.

• Strong project / program management skills with experience in complex, cross-functional environments.

• Expert in Teamcenter or similar PLM tools; proficient in BOM management (Design, Engineering, Manufacturing).

• Experience with CAD tools (e.g., Catia) and product modularization is a plus.

• Deep understanding of R&D processes, global approval rules, and ability to operate in matrix and international teams.

• Proven leadership with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and manage diverse relationships balancing technical and business priorities.

• Analytical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset, proactive attitude, and creative problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communicator, fluent in English. 

Where you’ll be:

This is a full-time position based at one of our R&D Food Preparation sites: Curitiba (Brazil), Swidnica (Poland), or Satu Mare (Romania). For Forlì (Italy), only internal candidates will be considered.
