All about the role:
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineers to join our Offshore Delivery Center in Bangalore to support and extend our eCommerce solution. This is a platform-agnostic engineering role where your core technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities will drive success more than experience with any single framework or product.

You will be part of a Scrum team, working closely with development leads, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality eCommerce features and services in an agile environment.

About the CDI Experience Organization:

The Consumer Direct Interaction Experience Organization is a Digital Product Organization responsible for delivering tech solutions to our end-users and consumers across both pre-purchase and post-purchase journeys. We are organized in 15+ digital product areas, providing solutions ranging from Contact Center, E-commerce, Marketing, and Identity to AI. You will play a key role in ensuring the right sizing, right skillset, and core competency across these product areas.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for the eCommerce domain.

  • Work as a key member of an agile Scrum team, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborating closely with development leads to align on technical direction, architecture, and implementation strategies.

  • Analyze and solve complex problems across the stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services and integrations.

  • Understand business and technical requirements to create high-quality, maintainable deliverables.

  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

  • Ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and system performance.

  • Support incident resolution and platform stability initiatives.

Who are you:

  • 4+ years of hands-on programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Spring boot etc.

  • Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, frameworks, and platforms.

  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture.

  • Solid experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern development tools (Git, CI/CD, etc.).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

  • Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.

  • Prior experience or understanding of eCommerce systems, shopping carts, order management, product catalog, payment integration, etc., is highly desirable.

  • Exposure to DevOps practices, automation, and monitoring tools is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a distributed team setting.
