Job Description

We’re looking for a Curriculum Designer to own how lessons come to life on our platform — from breaking down syllabus topics into structured lessons, to producing content, to ensuring every piece meets our quality bar before it reaches students.

You don’t need to be a subject matter expert in every syllabus. You need to be curious, structured, and willing to learn fast. The platform serves a wide student market, so the syllabus mix will shift based on what we’re building next — flexibility matters more than depth in any one area.

What you’ll do

•  Break down textbook chapters and syllabus topics into clear, teachable lessons with defined learning outcomes
•  Plan lesson content end-to-end: what concepts to cover, what examples to use, what visuals are needed, how to assess understanding
•  Produce and populate lesson content on our platform using our internal AI-powered tooling
•  Map content to syllabus standards (DSKP, SPM exam format, IGCSE specifications) and keep it current as syllabi update
•  QA lessons before publishing — checking accuracy, pedagogical flow, and alignment to learning outcomes
•  Collaborate with teachers, designers, and engineers to improve how content is created and delivered

Job Requirements

  What we’re looking for

•  A degree in Education, a teaching subject (Maths, Science, English, etc.), or a related field
•  Strong written English; working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is a plus
•  Clear, structured thinking — you can take a messy chapter and turn it into a logical lesson plan
•  Comfort with digital tools (Canva, basic spreadsheets) and openness to learning AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) as part of daily work
•  Curiosity about how students learn and what makes a lesson actually stick
•  Self-directed — you can pick up an unfamiliar syllabus, study it, and produce quality output without hand-holding

Nice to have

•  Teaching, tutoring, or tuition experience (even informal)
•  Familiarity with KSSR, SPM, or IGCSE syllabi
•  Experience with instructional design frameworks (Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE) — or willingness to learn them
•  Any exposure to AI tools for content creation
