Emperikal

Emperikal was founded in 2017 to solve a clear problem in digital marketing: overpromising, underdelivering, and far too much wasted spend.

So we built a different kind of agency — one that combines strategic depth with technical execution, and puts outcomes first.

Since then, we’ve grown into a full-service digital partner trusted by brands like Affin Bank, Pantai Hospitals, PUMA, MDEC, and Sunway College. We deliver work across performance media, SEO, content, social, influencer marketing, and eCommerce — with results that hold up under scrutiny.

Our Story

At Emperikal, we care deeply about the work we do — and how we do it. We take ownership, hold ourselves accountable, and take pride in delivering work that’s thoughtful, effective, and built to last.

We operate with a flat structure — where ideas matter more than titles, and everyone contributes to decisions that move the work forward. Feedback is part of how we grow, not something reserved for performance reviews. We value people who ask questions, speak up, and stay curious.

We don’t perform for optics or posture to impress. We talk openly, think critically, and aim to do the right thing — not just sound right. It’s a culture built on trust, respect, and the shared ambition to do great work — together.

Our Culture

Citizenship Requirement: Malaysian only (Non-citizen applications will not be entertained)

Overview

Emperikal is hiring a strategic, execution-focused SEO Manager to lead our SEO function. This is a high-accountability role for someone who can balance technical depth with business impact.

You’re not here to maintain—you’re here to drive outcomes. You’ll manage a team, own performance, and interface directly with clients. The expectation: leadership with precision, not theory.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities)

Lead a team across technical SEO, content strategy, and off-site optimisation.

Develop and implement full-spectrum SEO strategies for growth-stage and enterprise clients.

Act as the primary SEO advisor in client discussions—communicating insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Conduct deep technical audits, identify content gaps, and oversee backlink strategy.

Collaborate across media, analytics, content, and dev teams to ensure unified performance outcomes.

Stay ahead of search trends, algorithm shifts, and SERP innovations—turning knowledge into action.

Produce clear, high-impact performance reports tied to client business goals.

Maintain delivery standards and process discipline across all SEO outputs.

Support business development with strategy input, proposals, and pitching.

Think beyond textbook SEO. Curiosity around grey areas (automation, SERP manipulation, etc.) is valued—if balanced with judgment and business sense.

Who We Are

We are not a traditional agency. Emperikal is built for speed, strategic depth, and high performance.

No bureaucracy. No legacy mindset. No tolerance for mediocrity.

We operate on-site by design—because momentum, clarity, and creative problem-solving happen faster when we’re in the same room.

If you prefer working in silos or waiting for direction, this role isn’t for you.

Our Culture

We move fast and trust our people to own outcomes.

We don’t keep passengers—everyone here earns their seat.

We solve problems as a team, not by pointing fingers.

We give feedback with clarity and respect—no drama, no ego.

We reward performance, not noise or politics.

We’re led by operators who stay close to the work.
