Job Description

Project Analysis:

  1. Review project specifications and documents to understand the scope of work and requirements.
  2. Collaborate with the sales team to gain insights into project needs.

Cost Estimation:

  1. Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for Company projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracting costs.

Quantity Take-off:

  1. Perform quantity take-off for lightning solution components and materials required for each project.

Vendor and Supplier Quotes:

  1. Obtain quotes from vendors and suppliers (via purchasing department) for lightning solution materials and equipment.
  2. Evaluate quotes to determine the most cost-effective options.

Proposal Development:

  1. Assist in developing detailed project proposals for clients, outlining the scope of work, costs, and timelines.

Budget Planning:

  1. Collaborate with the sales team to establish project budgets based on cost estimates.
  2. Collaborate with the project team for Variation Order (“VO”) as required.

Cost Optimization:

  1. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering without compromising on quality.

Bid Analysis:

  1. Participate in bid analysis to assess the competitiveness of the company's proposals.

Documentation and Records:

  1. Maintain comprehensive records of cost estimates, quotes, and project related documentation.
  2. Maintain up-to-date project records revision and confidentiality of documents.

Market Research:

  1. Stay informed about industry trends, market pricing, and advancements in lightning solution technology.

Job Requirements

 

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
     
  • 1-3 years’ experience in construction cost management, estimation, and contract administration.
     
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
     
  • Proficient in MS Office and QS software
     
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
     
  • Familiarity with local construction regulations and industry standards.
