Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to execute and manage our day-to-day social media operations across multiple platforms.

This role focuses on content execution, running paid ads, platform management, and performance optimisation, working closely with the Marketing Growth Lead and founders. The Social Media Manager is responsible for turning strategy into consistent, high-quality output and measurable engagement.

This is a hands-on execution role in a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Execution & Management

  •  Manage daily operations across all social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
  •  Create, publish, and manage the content calendar
    • Run and optimise paid ads on different channels
    • Ensure consistency in brand tone, visuals, and messaging
    • Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions

2. Content Coordination & Production

  •  Work with internal teams, designers, and video editors to prepare social media content
    • Adapt content formats for different platforms and audiences
    • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
    • Support content repurposing and optimisation for different channels

3. Performance Tracking & Optimisation

  •  Track key metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and CTR
    • Analyse post performance and provide regular performance updates
    • Optimise posting times, formats, and content based on data insights
    • Support A/B testing of content formats and messaging

4. Campaign & Launch Support

  •  Execute social media campaigns, launches, and promotions
    • Support growth initiatives driven by the Marketing Growth Lead
    • Assist in influencer or collaboration coordination if required
    • Ensure timely execution of campaign-related content

5. Collaboration & Process

  •  Work closely with the Marketing Growth Lead to execute social strategies
    • Coordinate with founders and creative teams on priorities and timelines
    • Maintain organised content calendars and posting schedules
    • Follow structured workflows and deadlines in a startup environment

Job Requirements

Requirements

  •  2–4 years of experience in social media management or content execution
    • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and trends
    • Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools
    • Good eye for content, visuals, and brand consistency
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
    • Strong communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus)
    • Experience in tech, lifestyle, entertainment, or consumer brands is a bonus
