Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, energetic, pet-loving individuals to join our retail team for a 3-month pop-up store at Sunway Square Mall. You will be the face of Tera Diet & Ada Pet Care — helping customers discover our sustainable, insect-based pet food, and tofu based litter, providing excellent service, and ensuring a smooth retail operation.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys talking to people, loves animals, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

About Ada Pet Care

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Welcome and engage customers in a warm, professional manner
• Educate shoppers about Tera Diet and Ada Pet Care products (pet food, treats, pet supplies)
• Provide honest recommendations based on customer needs
• Assist in product sampling, demos, and simple product explanations 

Sales & Retail Operations

• Perform daily sales using POS system
• Keep the store clean, organised, and well-stocked
• Manage inventory, restocking, and product display
• Assist with opening/closing duties
• Support live selling moments, content creation, or customer Q&A when required

Sales Handling & Reporting

• Process payments accurately
• Reconcile daily sales
• Report any stock discrepancies or customer feedback

Event Activities

• Support weekend activities (if any), promotions, and peak-hour crowd
• Assist in simple booth setup and teardown when needed

Work Schedule

• Mall hours: 10am – 10pm
• 6 days/week, 1 rest day
• Shifts based on rotation:
• Morning: 9:30am – 4:00pm
• Evening: 3:30pm – 10:00pm
• 12-hour full shift on certain weekdays (rotational)

Requirements

• Passionate about pets — especially cats!
• Friendly, positive and customer-oriented
• Good communication skills in English and/or Malay
• Able to stand for long hours
• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently
• Retail experience is a bonus (not required)
• Must be able to commit for the entire 3-month period
• Students/graduates welcome (contract role)
