As the Finance Executive based at a client office, you will keep day-to-day financial reporting accurate and on schedule, manage month-end closes, and ensure statutory compliance. You will coordinate with auditors and tax agents, support finance process improvements, and deliver practical financial insights that keep clients and our team operating with confidence.

Job Requirements
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Month-end Close
- You will maintain full sets of accounts at client sites, keeping ledgers, journals and records accurate and up to date.
- You will execute month-end close activities, prepare management accounts and supporting schedules, and deliver timely reports to clients and our team.
Compliance & External Coordination
- You will perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate outstanding items and review accounting entries for completeness and accuracy.
- You will liaise with external auditors during annual audits, prepare audit schedules, follow up on findings and coordinate with tax agents on corporate tax and SST matters.
- You will ensure statutory reporting, compliance with applicable accounting standards and adherence to internal policies across client engagements.
Advisory, Budgeting & Process Improvement
- You will support budgeting, cash flow monitoring and routine financial analysis to turn management accounts into clear recommendations for clients.
- You will participate in finance process improvement and internal control enhancement initiatives and support ad-hoc finance projects as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including preparing a full set of accounts and performing month-end closing processes.
- Proven experience performing balance sheet reconciliations and liaising with external auditors during audits.
- Candidates with external audit experience who want to move into commercial finance are encouraged to apply.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA or equivalent, completed or currently pursuing, are an advantage.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of corporate tax and SST, with exposure to statutory compliance tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good working knowledge of accounting standards and internal control practices.
Soft Skills & Qualities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Comfortable working on client sites and collaborating with auditors, tax agents and senior stakeholders.
