Job Description

The candidate will be reporting to the PARC Lead. The scope requires the candidate to manage the upkeep of a community park and its assets & facilities while actively engaging with community stakeholders to create a vibrant and participative community through and around the space.

As the Events & Customer Experience Executive, you will play a key role in organising community-driven events, enhancing visitor experiences, and managing social media engagement in collaboration with the Marketing & Placemaking Teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that every interaction, both in-person and online, reflects our values and enhances our presence in the community space.

Essential Job Functions

1. Event Planning & Execution

  • Develop, plan, and execute events, workshops, and pop-ups that align with company vision, mission and goals. .
  • Coordinate with vendors, tenants, and community partners to curate meaningful experiences for stakeholders. 
  • Oversee event logistics, from setup to breakdown, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Track event success through footfall, feedback, and impact metrics.

2. Customer Engagement & Experience

  • Act as the main point of contact for event organisers and enquiries, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience.
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve services and event offerings.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance visitor satisfaction and engagement.

3. Social Media Support

  • Assist the Marketing Team in scheduling and posting approved social media content related to events and community activities.
  • Capture photos and videos of events and community activities for use on social media.
  • Monitor social media comments and direct messages, escalating inquiries or concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Provide content to the marketing team for use in social media posts.

4. Stakeholder & Partner Coordination

  • Work closely with tenants, vendors, and community partners to create collaborative activations.
  • Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders, balancing their needs with our programming goals.
  • Assist the Placemaking Team in facilitating communication with existing sponsors and partners for event support.

5. Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse event and social media performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather insights from attendees and online engagement metrics to refine strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance community engagement efforts.

Job Requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Passion for Community & Events: Enthusiastic about creating meaningful experiences that bring people together.
  • Organised & Detail-Oriented: Skilled in planning and coordinating events efficiently.
  • Hospitality and customer service skills are a must. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu. Chinese and Tamil will be an advantage. 
  • Able to work independently, well-organised and capable of meeting deadlines and proactively following-up.
  • Loves people! 

Experience

  • Have experience in planning or coordinating events. 
  • Have experience in facilities management, real estate, project management, hotel management or building related qualifications.
  • Team-work oriented with good communication skills.
  • Fresh graduates may apply for the position. Added advantage for candidate with working experience in hospitality or events.
