Job Description
This role owns day-to-day operations and the technical upkeep of the park, its assets and facilities, alongside the on-site team and the community experience.
As Senior Executive, Operations & Community, you will run PARC's daily operations, lead and develop the on-site team, manage contractors and vendors, and build strong relationships with property owners, tenants and the surrounding community. You will do this while staying true to EPIC's community co-creation approach and our Triple Bottom Line — People, Planet and Prosperity — ensuring the park is well-run, well-maintained, and genuinely valued by the people who use it.
Job Requirements
Operations & Facilities Management
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for day-to-day management of the space.
- Oversee and upkeep daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, functionality and smooth running of the property and its assets.
- Manage, administer and supervise appointed contractors and their staff; ensure performance and conduct are satisfactory at all times.
- Maintain a structured defect and repair tracker, with clear timelines and follow-up.
- Advise on asset improvements and resource needs to continuously uplift the site experience.
- Ensure compliance with PARC's rules, regulations, and site safety requirements
Tenant & Community Service Delivery
- Deliver day-to-day tenant service and support — approvals, facilities requests and site coordination — ensuring a well-run tenant experience. (Commercial terms, negotiations and new tenant sourcing sit with the Leasing & Business Development lead.)
- Build relationships with the neighbouring community of Subang Jaya, fostering goodwill and responding to feedback from community members and visitors.
- Route commercial or business-development matters raised by tenants and partners (terms, renewals, payments) to the Leasing & Business Development lead; own the resolution of operational and site matters.
- Anticipate operational needs and resolve site issues before they escalate.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets for maintenance, community engagement and other site expenses.
- Oversee day-to-day financial administration — transactional documents, collections and expenditures — ensuring charges are processed accurately and on time.
- Work within EPIC's budgeting and fund-disbursement processes for events and programmes.
- Manage office claims, expense approvals and reporting for the site team.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead and manage the on-site team, including full-time and part-time staff.
- Organise team structure, identify recruitment needs, and coordinate with HR on onboarding, scheduling and shift management.
- Set clear expectations, track performance, and support the team's development.
Collaboration & Cross-Team Coordination
- Partner closely with the Leasing & Business Development lead to ensure commercial commitments (new tenants, events, activations) are deliverable on the ground.
- Work with the Marketing team on the operational logistics of activations and programmes.
- Coordinate with finance and admin on invoicing, disbursement and reporting.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Set and monitor operational KPIs — maintenance turnaround, defect resolution, safety compliance, tenant and community satisfaction.
- Report regularly to leadership with clear, resolution-focused updates: the issue, the plan, and how it's prevented next time.
- Use site data and community feedback to continuously improve operations.
We prefer candidates with more than two years experience in the following:
- Facilities & Property Operations: Hands-on background running day-to-day operations and asset upkeep for public spaces, parks, or commercial sites.
- Contractor & Vendor Supervision: Direct experience directing third-party vendors (e.g., security, cleaning, maintenance) and monitoring performance.
- Tenant & Public Relations: Proven track record handling requests, resolving site issues, and engaging local stakeholders.
- Operational Budgeting: Practical experience managing site operating budgets, transactional documents, and financial disbursements.
- Cross-Functional Execution: History of partnering across departments to deliver results.
