Job Description
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimating, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, budgeting, and cost control processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the cost estimating department and oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates for all projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates.
- Manage a team of cost estimators, providing guidance and mentoring.
- Ensure all estimates are prepared in line with company procedures and client requirements.
- Liaise with project managers and procurement teams to validate and adjust cost estimates.
- Present cost estimates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
