Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Possess at least a recognised Diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or in related fields.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor, preferably in the Oil & Gas or fabrication industry.
3. Knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and practices for onshore and offshore environments.
4. Familiarity with hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency response planning.
5. Obtained Certification as a Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book).
6. Offshore safety certification (e.g., BOSIET) is an added advantage.
7. Strong communication and leadership skills to enforce safety standards effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor and enforce safety compliance at onshore and offshore work sites to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Conduct daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and inspections to address safety concerns proactively.
3. Assist in the identification and mitigation of workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
4. Collaborate with the project team and tradesmen to ensure safe practices during fabrication and other operations.
5. Maintain accurate safety documentation, including reports on incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
6. Coordinate emergency drills and first aid activities on-site.
7. Act as a liaison between the HSE team, management, and workers for safety-related matters.
8. Foster a culture of safety awareness among all personnel.
