Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation between Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu during meetings, discussions and daily operations.
• Support communication between management, stakeholders, Production, Engineering and other departments.
• Provide on-site interpretation support for Production and Engineering activities.
• Interpret technical terms related to manufacturing, machinery, equipment, maintenance, quality and safety.
• Assist in communicating technical instructions, work procedures and operational requirements.
• Support interpretation during production meetings, engineering discussions, troubleshooting, equipment installation and training.
• Translate SOPs, work instructions, reports, presentations and other technical documents when required.
• Ensure technical information and instructions are communicated accurately and clearly.
• Help reduce communication gaps between Mandarin-speaking and local employees.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and technical information.
• Perform other translation and interpretation duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu, with the ability to speak, read and write in all three languages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with employees and stakeholders at different levels
• Able to interpret accurately and professionally in a business environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Languages, Communication, Business Administration or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience as a Translator, Interpreter, Management Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role is an added advantage
