Job Description

 

1. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in yield, cost, and quality.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Design and implement process changes and new technologies to enhance operational performance and product quality.

2. Technical Troubleshooting & Support

  • Act as the primary technical resource for the production floor, providing rapid and effective troubleshooting for complex process abnormalities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality deviations, equipment malfunctions, and process failures, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Manage process parameters to ensure safe, stable, and consistent operations.

3. Quality & Compliance Stewardship

  • Ensure all processes comply with internal quality standards and external regulations, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Process Control Plans.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to validate processes and reduce the cost of poor quality.

4. Data Analysis & Project Management

  • Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven techniques (SPC) to monitor process stability and capability.
  • Lead and manage capital and process improvement projects from conception through commissioning, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on process performance, project status, and improvement opportunities for management.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams to launch new products and ensure smooth scale-up from pilot to full production.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to production operators and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Process Engineering (or related field).
  • Experience in manufacturing process optimization, troubleshooting, and project management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SPC, and process improvement tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to train and guide operators.
