Video content must be engaging, informative, visually appealing, and must meet numerous criteria to be considered watch and share-worthy. To this end, the Videographer must be keenly aware of industry trends, as well as the various trending topics and viral memes that differ from generation to generation of social media users. They must be able to harness their knowledge to create video content that specifically targets these generations, in line with marketing endeavours. They must also be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with members of other departments in creating video content, as well as obtaining the necessary approvals. Ideation in line with current trending topics is a must, brought to life with a keen knowledge of video planning, shooting, and editing.

JOBSCOPE:

• Capture video footage for Marketing campaigns.
• Conceptualize visual styles and narrative directions into video content.
• Develop visuals, outlines, shot lists, and scripts to guide the filming process.
• Scout and recommend filming locations for suitability of content.
• Recommend necessary technical requirements for lighting and audio.
• Setup, direct and create well-structured cinematography for videography.
• Edit videos for marketing copy to advertise our company and products.
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate the final product.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Cinematography, Broadcasting & Film, Digital Creative Content Communications, or related field.
• Relevant understanding or experience in video creation from ideation to editing to post-processing.
• An understanding of social media trends.
• Knowledge of Visual, Audio, and Video editing apps and tools with willingness to learn about the new apps on the market.
• In touch with current trending topics and viral memes.
• Integrity and dependability; must show up when needed and be willing to go beyond the call of duty.
• People skills; must be able to establish and maintain relationships within and beyond the company.
• Professional and proactive work ethic.
• Effective time management skills.
• Able to work independently with multitasking abilities.
• Have an eye for visuals and for video creation.
• Attention to detail.

MARKETING WORKING HOURS:

Monday-Sunday: Five (5) Working Days with Two (2) Off Days per week.

8 Working Hours (1 hour break) per day / 40 hours per week.
