Job Description

 Position Overview

To ensure the appropriate suppliers are being contracted and that all necessary paperwork is handled including safety checks, insurance checks and so on. To develop relationships and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the company receives the best rates and services. To ensure all system settings and database are all correct, well maintained and backed up at all times.

Responsibilities 

  • Contract Management & Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end contracting process, from negotiating the best possible rates and terms to securing barter agreements, allotments and special amenities.
  • System Administration: Accurately load and maintain supplier data, rates, and hotel information within the Tourplan system, ensuring all modules (database, fastbook and accounting) are correctly configured.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Perform rigorous checks on contracts for accuracy, insurance and safety standards while conducting monthly price comparisons against online rates to maintain competitiveness.
  • Cross-Departmental Support: Act as the primary link between Product and Sales/Operations by providing clear rate information, creating supplier training materials and assisting in the resolution of supplier-related complaints.
  • Relationship & Database Oversight: Develop strong supplier partnerships and coordinate with the Database team to ensure a well-organized filing system and up-to-date information across all company servers.

Job Requirements

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of 3 working experience in the same role with previous experience in using Tourplan software or similar
  • Experience in software system management background will be an advantage
  • General knowledge about Travel industry and tourism in destination
  • Good command of English language, other foreign language is a plus
