Position Overview:
Working within a team, you will be in daily contact with our clients and sales offices, processing bookings, answering questions and creating travel itineraries. We have clients from all over the world, however we specialize in European and other English Speaking markets. A good Travel Consultant is focused on providing the best service/advise to our agents, has good product knowledge and keeps looking to improve it, has a professional mind-set and a passion for travel in his/her work and at the same time is supporting the Company Sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1) Correspond with overseas travel agents and partners and provide accurate travel information
2) Advise and create Travel itineraries for agents
3) Make quotations/proposals and reconfirm bookings
4) Understand existing and new products offered by the Company
5) Work with Operations team to deliver optimal service on the ground
6) Issue invoices in timely manner & assist accounting in regards to payment
7) Following the company tools/system/standard operating procedure
8) Supporting the company Sustainability initiatives towards ethical tourism
Skills & Qualifications:
• Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or other related field.
• Good command of written and spoken English. Other foreign languages will be an added bonus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Inbound Tour Operations in European & other English speaking market
• Good attitude, well organized, hardworking, with the ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of responsible tourism is a plus
• Leadership skills are an advantage for this role
• Experience using TourPlan is a great advantage
