Senior Content Writer

Travel Partnerships and Media helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions.
Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Content Writer to join our B2B Content Management team. Are you enthusiastic about creating, curating, and maintaining content? Are you well-versed in writing in English for localization, web and mobile? Do you have an eye for detail and dream of ways to improve self-service content? We want to hear from you!
In this role, you will
Review customer requests against business needs, using content strategy to recommend strategic content solutions.
Manage complex content projects end-to-end including scoping, prioritization, timeline management, and stakeholder coordination with minimal oversight.
Write, curate, maintain, and optimize web content and email template content that adheres to content strategy guidelines for style, voice, and tone.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX, Product, and Marketing, to ensure cohesive user experiences that align with brand values and tone.
Understand the needs of our internal and external end-users to create targeted content that solves business challenges and encourages usability and searchability.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders, managing expectations and keeping them informed of progress or changes that may affect project timelines.
Interact with leadership, customers, and cross-functional partners at various levels to identify content strategies/goals/solutions.
Leverage holistic thinking and experience to propose innovative ideas that advance content management practices and benefit the broader team, proactively developing solutions that drive both content strategy and customer success.
Utilize data-driven insights to optimize user experiences and demonstrate the strategic value of content within the overall experience.
Demonstrates ability to mentor and develop team members.
Experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline, or any related field; or equivalent related professional experience
5+ years of strategic and tactical content creation, including technical writing, process documentation, and/or content guides
Have a passion for writing and creation of self-service content in English
Experience leading complex projects end-to-end
Able to transform information from multiple sources and documents into concise, user-centric content solutions
Skillful in crafting plain language content that adheres to style, voice, and tone standards
Capable of prioritizing a variety of projects and maintenance work simultaneously and with a high degree of autonomy
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Able to navigate ambiguity to deliver content that adds measurable value to the business
Strong judgment to navigate business relationships and conflicting opinions amidst ambiguity
Adept at crisply defining user scenarios and building the right content to address user needs
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks with autonomy, develop simple solutions despite constraints, and make tradeoffs when leading projects
Experience using data to make business decisions
Experience working with self-service content in a globally distributed organization

Experience with Salesforce, Seismic, Adobe AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), Jira
