Role Summary:

The Global Procurement Operational Hub located in our office in Kuala Lumpur which provides support operationally in all regions where Experian operates – Brazil; Spanish Latin America; North America; UK; Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific.

 

As such we are looking to hire a Procurement Operations Specialist that will have exposure to a variety of cultures and processes as part of this exciting opportunity to gain experience in the Procurement environment.

 

What you'll do:

You will be responsible for multiple tasks that support the in-region buyers during the entire Procurement lifecycle.

These include as per below:

  • Report generation, data management and maintenance of Ironclad, our contract lifecycle management tool
  • Administer Purchasing Documentations and updates into Oracle system
  • New Suppliers Onboarding Due Diligence Checks
  • Manage shared mailbox for Regional Procurement Team.
  • Monitoring changes to payment terms in supplier details and purchase documents
  • Update policy, PO Terms and Conditions to internal and external Procurement websites
  • Monitor, review and identification of non-compliance of purchasing card purchases,
  • Your interactions will be both with the in-region buyers and a large spectrum of stakeholders to provide first line response to queries before escalating these if needed to your line manager.
  • You will also actively contribute to the identification of opportunities in the processes that you manage to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

 


Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Preferably you are required to possess a minimum education in a bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 1+ years - 2 years of experience in procurement
  • Ability to communicate well in English - fluent in both in written and verbal communication as you will provide support globally.
  • You will use your skills to work through a great variety of challenging tasks that will allow you to make a real impact within a fast-moving and rewarding environment whilst working within an expanding and world-class Procurement team
  • Collate and synthesize information from multiple sources, while providing valuable analysis, insights and regular updates.
  • Ideally, you understand how to work in an international business environment. Previous buying experience is not essential for this role, however business understanding, and acumen is vital.
  • Understand and familiar with systems analysis and software systems, including system configuration, workflow management and reporting is important.
