Job Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client prospecting.
  • Develop and implement effective business development and sales strategies.
  • Negotiate and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth. 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key retail clients by understanding their needs and goals.
  • Negotiate terms of sale including pricing, delivery lead times, payment terms, and promotional strategies.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximize sales and market share.
  • Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Recommend product placement, merchandising, and promotional activities to enhance sales performance.
  • Track key account performance, prepare reports for management, and provide insights on market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, logistics, and product development teams to deliver value to clients.
  • Supervise and guide sales/account teams where applicable.
  • Handle any tasks assigned by the Head of Sales & Marketing and other key management personnel.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales-related roles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities.
  • Strong relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
