Job Description

• Support in developing, designing, and conducting experiments, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. 
• Assist in the formulation, development, and testing of new products, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct tests, collect data, and provide detailed reports on findings to support ongoing research and development activities.
• Maintain thorough documentation of experiments, methodologies, and results. Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and marketing, to ensure research findings are successfully implemented into product development.
• Ensure all R&D activities comply with regulatory and safety standards.
• Monitor the latest trends in R&D, market demands, and competitor products to provide insights and recommendations for potential innovations.
• Maintain lab equipment and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition. Prepare materials and resources for experiments.
• Conduct product testing and provide feedback for improvements and optimization.
• Involve in sourcing and purchasing of material, ingredients and equipment for R&D use.
• Perform any ad-hoc task required by the management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/ Nutrition/ Food Engineering/ Food Science or in any related field
• 1-2 years food manufacturing working experience in developing frozen food or similar products
• Meticulous, attention to detail, hands-on and willing to take additional responsibilities
• Innovative, creative, idealistic and passion in food research and development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill with the ability to work under diverse cultures
• Independent, highly organized and good multi-tasking skill to adapt in fast paced environment
• Possess own transport
• Candidates that can converse fluently in English, Malay and Mandarin is preferred
