As companies continue to digitize and automate more aspects of their business, performing high-quality audits and providing other assurance services require deeper capabilities with specialized knowledge of auditing technology. The objective of our technology assurance services is to provide clients with a reliable overview of their technology risk landscape. Our solutions can be used by our clients to build confidence and trust with their customers, the overall market and when required by regulation or contractual obligations. &nbsp; Your key responsibilities &nbsp; <ul> <li>Participate in multiple client engagement teams and other related activities. Engagements focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of Information Technology (IT) systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks. Engagements may be either assurance/other assurance (attestation) and/or extended assurance in nature and vary considerably in size and complexity</li> <li>Serve as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.</li> <li>Work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and will assist clients and other Technology Assurance professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.</li> <li>You will also play a central role in leveraging data and analytics tools to deliver high-quality audits by:</li> <li>Working with the audit teams to devise and execute detailed analytics plans based on the broader audit strategy</li> <li>Utilizing analytics tools and techniques, analyze large volumes of data to identify anomalies and patterns that suggest potential areas of audit risk</li> <li>Integrating audit analytics findings into the overall audit approach and to present these findings to the client</li> </ul> &nbsp; Skills and attributes for success&nbsp; &nbsp; <ul> <li>Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents</li> <li>Work with the engagement team to document the business processes dependent on information technology</li> <li>Serve as a fieldwork leader by directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems</li> <li>Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations</li> <li>Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services</li> <li>Proficient in analytics tools like Alteryx, SQL and Power BI, as well as familiarity with more traditional tools such as Excel etc.</li> <li>Have a strong understanding of financial and non-financial data, and its applicability in the audit process</li> <li>Ability to simplify complex data and communicate results clearly to non-technical audiences, both in writing and through visualizations</li> <li>Be a strategic thinker that can see beyond the data and understand how analytics fits into the bigger picture of an audit engagement and the overall assurance process</li> </ul> &nbsp; To qualify for the role, you must have: &nbsp; <ul> <li>A recognized university degree in accounting, business, computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics or other relevant discipline</li> <li>Willingness to travel on overseas assignment as the need arises</li> <li>Project management skills</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills</li> <li>Leadership, teamwork and client service skills</li> <li>Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment</li> </ul> &nbsp; Ideally, you’ll also have: &nbsp; <ul> <li>Relevant certifications such as CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT&nbsp;</li> <li>Prior experience in performing data analytics in an audit, risk management, compliance, or related role</li> </ul> &nbsp; What we look for&nbsp; Highly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.
