We are in the deployment phase of a comprehensive laundry management system:

• Workflow and inventory tracking
• Inventory quality control
• Accounting integration
• Report generation
• Additional features like vehicle and driver scheduling, factory process tracking, and client-side inventory management

The system is developed using Python and web technologies to create browser-based and desktop applications that run on Android and Windows operating systems.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Deployment Engineer Intern to join our dynamic and small team on this impactful project. You will be responsible for project implementation, ensuring the system meets our client's specific needs and delivers a high-quality user experience.

You will collaborate closely with a senior developer and a business analyst who will provide requirements. Your ability to produce clear and thorough communication will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the deployment of Laundry Management System, assess business impacts and operational issues, and clearly communicate to the team
• Contribute to field testing efforts, and promptly troubleshoot and support live operational issues
• Contribute to cross-platform applications using Python and web technologies that run on Android and Windows operating systems
• Produce relevant and clear communications and system documentation for stakeholders
• Produce and manage observability dashboards, monitoring, and relevant infrastructure

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in development
• Strong technical writing skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong sense of responsibility

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with solutions deployments and communications with system stakeholders
• Experience with operations and observability technologies (e.g. Grafana, journalctl)
• Familiarity with offline technologies (e.g. Local Storage, PWA)
• Experience in developing software for the logistics or supply chain industry
• Experience in building applications using React Native
