About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our team. This role offers a hands-on introduction to professional accounting practices, where you will gain exposure to the full accounting cycle and cloud-based financial management. You will play a vital role in ensuring our financial operations remain accurate, organized, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations: Facilitate invoicing, payment processing, and precise data entry using SQL and Bukku.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure all financial records are accurate, reconciled, and updated in a timely manner.
  • Document Management: Maintain a high standard of digital and physical filing, ensuring a well-structured system for all financial records.
  • Accounts Assistance: Support the team with month-end closing activities and contribute to the preparation of financial reports.
  • The Big Picture: Collaborate closely with managers and supervisors to gain practical insights into the end-to-end accounting cycle and corporate compliance.
  • General Support: Assist with daily administrative tasks and contribute to special finance-led initiatives or projects as needed.

Job Requirements

 

Job Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications, with a strong command of Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, and data organization)
  • Accounting Software: A quick learner who is comfortable with (or eager to learn) accounting software like SQL and Bukku.
  • Precision: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility toward data accuracy.
  • Soft Skills: Proactive, able to work independently, and thrives in a collaborative, high-energy team environment.
  • Professionalism: Eager to learn and contribute within a professional services firm.

 

Working Arrangement

  • Hybrid Model: Flexibility to work remotely, with a requirement to be in the office for physical meetings and collaborative sessions.
  • Prime Location: Our office is conveniently located just one station away from TRX and is within easy walking distance of the MRT, making your commute seamless.
