Job Description

Help healthcare providers find the right products to support better patient care. As a Medical Sales Merchandiser, you will combine sales, customer relationship management and product merchandising to grow Felco’s presence across pharmacies, medical centres, hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centres and other healthcare outlets.

You will represent a portfolio that includes wheelchairs, hospital beds, walking aids, rehabilitation equipment, patient-support products, medical disposables and pharmacy and healthcare supplies.

What you’ll do

Drive sales and build customer relationships

• Visit pharmacies, hospitals, medical centres, nursing homes, rehabilitation centres and other healthcare customers.
• Introduce Felco’s medical and healthcare products and recommend suitable solutions.
• Develop new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
• Work towards assigned monthly sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries, orders and customer requirements.

Manage product merchandising

• Ensure products are well presented and properly displayed at customer outlets.
• Check product availability, stock levels and display conditions.
• Arrange product displays and promotional materials where applicable.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing and market activity.
• Share feedback on product demand, customer preferences and market trends.

Coordinate orders and customer service

• Take customer orders and coordinate with the Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse teams.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Follow up on outstanding payments where required by the company.

Build strong product knowledge

• Learn the features, usage and benefits of Felco’s medical and healthcare product range.
• Explain products clearly and accurately to customers.
• Attend product training provided by the company.
• Provide product information responsibly and avoid unsupported medical claims.

Report market and sales activity

• Submit daily or weekly customer visit reports.
• Provide regular sales and market updates to the Sales Manager.
• Report competitor pricing, new products and relevant market trends.
• Keep accurate records of quotations, orders, samples and customer information.

What success looks like

• Monthly sales targets are achieved consistently.
• New healthcare customers are acquired and existing customers are retained.
• Customer visits and follow-ups are completed regularly.
• Sales grow across the assigned territory.
• Products are well covered and merchandised at customer outlets.
