Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Account Assistant to join our Finance & Accounting team.

This position is suitable for fresh graduates or junior candidates who want to gain hands-on experience in accounting and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting entries and transactions. 
• Key in invoices, receipts, payments and expenses. 
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). 
• Perform bank reconciliation. 
• Check and maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents. 
• Follow up on outstanding documents and payment records. 
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports. 
• Assist in audit and tax documentation when required. 
• Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents. 
• Support the Finance team in other accounting-related duties.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. 
• Candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience are also welcome. 
• Basic understanding of accounting principles. 
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel. 
• Experience with SQL Accounting is an advantage. 
• Detail-oriented, responsible and organized. 
• Willing to learn and able to follow deadlines. 
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
• Able to start immediately is highly preferred.
