Job Description

Job Summary:
The Videographer will handle the technical aspects of video shooting and video editing. This role requires expertise in camera operation, lighting, and sound to ensure high-quality video production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cameras and set up lighting and sound equipment to capture video footage during shoots.
  • Ensure that shots are aligned with the creative vision and meet technical specifications.
  • Edit raw footage, creating a final product that meets editorial standards and creative direction.
  • Apply color correction, sound editing, and visual effects to enhance the quality of videos.
  • Ensure all video content is edited according to project specifications and deadlines.
  • Organize and manage video files and assets, ensuring easy access to footage.
  • Collaborate with Production Lead, Content Creator/ Host writer and video production team to capture dynamic and engaging video content that aligns with intended narrative.
  • Adjust camera settings (e.g., aperture, shutter speed, ISO) for optimal video quality.
  • Oversee the physical setup of shooting locations, including lighting and props.
  • Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Provide support on-site for live shoots, photography and special video production projects.
  • Voice over and on-screen assistance – On occasion, you will be asked to help with voice over and on-screen appearance to offer voice-over and appearance on video as needed.
  • Stay updated on video editing software and techniques to continuously improve video quality.
  • Review and revise edits based on feedback from the team and clients.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience in video shooting and equipment management.
  • Proficient in camera operation, lighting setups, sound recording, video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
  • Knowledge of different camera systems, lenses, and video formats.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong creative and technical skills in video editing.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing shoot conditions and tight deadlines
  • Understanding of video compression and exporting formats for different platforms.
  • Strong communication skills to take feedback and implement changes
